At Dougal’s Doggy Digs, we’ve always believed dogs deserve more than just somewhere to stay—they deserve adventure, enrichment, love and the very best care.
As we continue to grow, we’d love to welcome a small team of volunteers who share that passion.
Whether you’re looking to gain experience, meet like-minded people, spend time with dogs after losing one of your own, or simply want to give something back to your community, we’d love to hear from you.
No experience is necessary—just enthusiasm and a genuine love of dogs.
Our vision
A recent volunteering trip to Big Dog Ranch Rescue in Florida inspired an even bigger vision for the future of Dougal’s Doggy Digs.
Seeing first-hand what can be achieved through the dedication of volunteers, supporters and a passionate community reminded us that incredible things happen when people come together for dogs.
Our long-term dream is to continue developing Dougal’s into somewhere that offers not only exceptional daycare and boarding, but also woodland walks, learning days, photography events, fundraising activities, community dog events and, one day, the opportunity to help dogs in need through our own rescue and rehabilitation work.
It’s a big dream—but every great rescue started with people who believed it was possible.

Who might enjoy volunteering?
